Transportation is the process of conveying passengers and goods from one location to another.
It constitutes one of the major features of economic development of any country though faced with serious challenges in developing countries. This training shall be divided into the following sub-topics: Concept, Scope and Nature of transportation in developing countries; Modes and Demand for Transportation in Developing countries; Nature and Magnitude of Transportation problems in Developing Countries; Socio-economic and Environmental Impact of Transportation; and solutions to transportation problem. Concluding this training would have broaden the student knowledge on transportation problem in developing countries.

Olagunju Deborah Kemi grew up in Nigeria, where she had her academic education to master level. She studied urban and Regional planning both at undergraduate and post graduate level. She is a member of Nigerian Institute of Town Planner and a registered member of Town Planner registration council of Nigeria (TOPREC).
Deborah is a certified Project Manager under International project management professional and certified health safety and environmental officer under British International safety Organization (BIOS).
Her thesis topic for undergraduate and post graduate are: Impact of Community Participation to Borehole Water Scheme in Oko Town, oyo state and Resident Compliance to Planning Regulation in Peri-Urban Area of Ibadan respectively.
Deborah have attended series of Conferences in Nigeria, with peer-reviewed articles in conference proceedings on a Topic Title; Urban Public evaluation in Ibadan: A prerequisite for public space design guideline and management solution in Nigeria. She wrote a chapter (Resident compliance with planning regulation in Nigeria: A case study of peri-urban area of Ibadan) in the book title: The constructed environment of Nigeria published by CIDDER, Ibadan.
Her Research Interest is Urban design and planning, Urban Development,Transportation planning and Sustainability.
Deborah is currently working with the Urban Development Consultant Limited, Ibadan, Nigeria.
